In recent years I have undertaken a number of commissions, large and small, to customer specifications.

I will work with you to determine your requirements in terms of size, colour palette, design and fabric choices.  Follow these simple steps to commission a handmade quilt from me:

• It is a good idea to view my current and previous work to provide a starting point for ideas for your own quilt.  This should provide an early indication of what you are looking for and an approximate time frame to complete.

• Decide on the preferred size; maximum width I can produce is 72"

• Use the contact form to send me your initial ideas and thoughts and request a quote.

• Provide your e-mail address on the form please.

• I will provide a 'no obligation' maximum price quotation based on your preferred quilt size.

• If you decide to order from me, I can provide sample fabrics if required. (Cost of samples is extra to quilt cost). 

• When all details have been confirmed by e-mail I require a deposit of 50% of the agreed cost before starting work on the quilt.  The deposit is required to cover the eventuality that you may change your mind at a later time which, depending on the style/content of the quilt, may make it difficult to offer for open sale. In this event, only 25% of the deposit will be refundable.

• I will maintain contact with you throughout the process for any questions. 

• On completion I will forward you photos of the finished quilt prior to despatch (free shipping).  This is the point at which I would require payment of the balance of the agreed cost.
